Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Known worldwide as Lady Gaga. Her birthplace was in Manhattan, New York, in the United States. Her mother is Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile company Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. was a director and entrepreneur of an internet-based network was her father. Her family was located in the exclusive Upper East Side of Manhattan in a Catholic family. The parents of her were enrolled at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious elitist institution. Since she was young she's been an avid music fan. She was able to play the piano at a very early age and composed her first original song at age thirteen. She participated in open-mic nights. She was a fan of Queen Michael Jackson, Madonna, as well as David Bowie. When she finished high school she was accepted into the Tisch School of Art of New York University where she studied music. She didn't complete her studies. Instead, she began the career path of a musician.
